What this site knows about you
Short version: an email address and your scores. No advertising, nothing sold or shared, page counting that sets no cookies and cannot follow you, and all of it deleted the moment you ask.
Your account
If you get listed, the site stores your email address, a listing reference, and your progress: training scores and arcade results.
There is no password. To sign in you type your address and we email you a six-digit code, which works once and for ten minutes. We keep a scrambled form of the code until it is used or expires, never the code itself, and nothing about where you were when you asked for it.
No advertising. No tracking across other sites. No cookie banner, because the only cookie this site sets is the one that keeps you signed in, and that one is strictly necessary. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google, so loading a page does not hand your address to Google.
The mailing list
Only if you tick Email me updates, at signup or later in your details. The list is kept at Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris), which sends the updates for us and handles the unsubscribe link in each one. Brevo receives your email address and nothing else — not your name, not your scores, not your listing reference.
- Ticking the box adds your address to the list at Brevo.
- Unticking it takes your address off the list at Brevo.
- Deleting your listing deletes your contact at Brevo entirely.
The sign-in codes are not part of this. They are sent by this site's own server whether or not you are on the list, because without them you could not sign in.
One limit, stated plainly: if you unsubscribe with the link in a Brevo email, Brevo stops mailing you straight away, but the box in your details here may still show as ticked until you change it. Untick it too, and both sides agree.
Counting page views
The site counts how many people read which page, using Matomo — analytics software
running on a server we control at 3dneuro.com. It is not Google Analytics, and no
advertising company is involved at any point.
It is configured so that it cannot follow you:
- It sets no cookies at all. That is the reason there is no cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to ask you about. It also means the software genuinely cannot tell whether you have been here before — every visit looks like a first visit, and the figures are weaker because of it. That is the trade, made deliberately.
- Your address is shortened before it is stored, so it identifies a rough area rather than a connection.
- If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, nothing is recorded at all. Most browsers have this in their privacy settings; Matomo respects it here.
- What is kept is the page, the page that referred you, and rough device and country — as counts, not as a trail belonging to a person.
One thing worth being straight about: 3dneuro.com is not the domain this site is
served from, so loading a page here does make one request to a second domain. That domain is
ours, it runs nothing but this analytics software, and nothing is passed on from it. It is the
single exception to “everything is served from this site”, and it would be dishonest to leave it
in the small print.
Getting your data out, and getting rid of it
- Export — one JSON file with everything held about you, from your listing page.
- Delete — also from your listing page. Access ends immediately and your address is overwritten straight away; the remaining records are erased after 30 days. That window exists so an accidental deletion can be undone, and it is the reason erasure is not instant.
Who runs this
A personal project, hosted in Germany. Not affiliated with the European Union, its institutions, or EPSO. For anything about your data, use the contact address on the listing page.
